The Interregional Learning Launch Workshop of the InnoBridge Project took place in 26th, 27th and 28th of April 2016 at the Technology and Design Centre of Lower Austria in Sankt Pölten, home of the Lead Partner Office of the Regional Government of Lower Austria, which welcomed the 8 partner region/countries of the Project.

On the first day, all partners presented briefly their region, the addressed policy instrument and their partner organisation.

After this, the Lead Partner, presented the objectives and the work plan of the InnoBridge Project, which was followed by an “Exchange of Experience” session which consisted on:

• Introduction of the Model “Evolution of activities and technology readiness” (“Evolution Model”);

• A practical exercise workshop for allocating the highlights from the partners’ introduction presentations into the evolution model Presentation of three rough “pilot actions” for the addressed policy instruments from Sofia and Lower Austria;

• Agreement on the analytical framework for InnoBridge;

The second day gave continuity to the “Exchange of Experience”, this time with “Peer Reviews and guideline”, a Work Package for which Partner ADRAL – Alentejo Regional Development Agency is responsible.

After this, the Partner Universities and Higher Education Foundation of Castilla y León (FUESCYL) presented the manifold communication issues of InnoBridge. The presented work plan for the communication issues gives an overview over the activities and deliverables. The work plan is part of the overall InnoBridge work plan and disseminated among all partners.

The idea for the InnoBridge Concept Paper and the Knowledge Pool was presented by work package leaders Applied Research and Communications Fund and Lead Partner Lower Austria.

The day was finished with a presentation of Lower Austrian examples for successful transfer of Good Practices.

The last day, the Steering Group took place, chaired by the Lead partner Lower Austria.
