It was held on the 19th, 20th and 21st of September 2018 in Évora and Reguengos de Monsaraz, Staff Exchange of the InnoBridge Project, organized by ADRAL - Alentejo Regional Development Agency.
During these days, ADRAL received the partners Universities and Higher Education Foundation of Castilla y León (Spain); The Council of Tampere Region (Finland) and the Foundation "Sofia Development Association" (Bulgaria), which had the opportunity to learn more about the Alentejo Region and operational programs to support innovation and technology transfer.
There were also visits to companies and institutions of great importance in the field of innovation in Alentejo, in Évora and Reguengos de Monsaraz.
A good example was the visit made to the ÉvoraTech Fablab, a fabrication laboratory that works a small-scale workshop offering (personal) digital fabrication, established in the ÉvoraTech Business Incubator, managed by ADRAL. The ÉvoraTech FabLab was identified as one as the Good Practices within the InnoBridge Project.
The second day the participants had the chance to see how private-owned foundations can contribute to social and technological innovation in a region. They learned how the innovations, especially social innovations, can benefit the whole regional community and increase its competencies to innovate. As social innovations are less discussed during the InnoBridge project, the experiences of these foundations were very interesting and beneficial. The visit to the vocational training center and the meetings there gave the participants the overall understanding of the regional cluster development and its many dimensions.
On the third day, there was a visit to two companies, one of them related to the aeronautic sector and both of them very innovative in their own businesses .
