The InnoBridge partners and institutions met in Malopolska Region for the Staff Exchange. The meeting has been organized in the capital city of Malopolska Region, in Cracow and was held on 27th and 28th September 2018. The two days agenda consisted a lot of interesting presentations including the details connected with the Malopolska Innovation Festival (as a Good Practice of the Malopolska Region), Malopolska Research Night/Global Entrepreneurial Week. Both presented events (the Malopolska Innovation Festival and Malopolska Research Night) are similar to one another when it comes to the preparation process, partners and topic involved. Visits in the organizations that cooperate with the Malopolska Region have been also included in the agenda. The idea behind the Staff Exchange has created the opportunity for the InnoBridge partner regions to learn in details about the addressed policy instrument and has helped the process of elaboration of the action plans in every region.
The first day of the Staff Exchange in Malopolska Region started from the opening and welcome at the Marshal Office of the Malopolska Region. After two presentations about Malopolska Innovation Festival and Malopolska Research Night the participants of the Staff Exchange visited Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (one of the partners in Malopolska Innovation Festival). The opening of Smart Specialisation Forum and participation of the Innobridge partners have been also included in the agenda of the meeting in Cracow, as well as Malopolska Innovator Competition 2018 planned as a last activity during the first day of the Staff Exchange.
On 28th all participants were invited to take part in organized visits in LifeScience Cluster and Aptiv – both are the partners in Malopolska Innovation Festival. During the Festival it is possible for participants to visit premises of LifeScience Cluster (biotechnology and life science innovations) or Aptiv and learn about the activities of the partners involved. For example Aptiv presents their technological innovations in the field of mobility. The Festival and organization of it have been particularly interesting to the InnoBridge partners as the additional materials have been sent to the partners interested in launching similar event. The second day of the Staff Exchange in Malopolska Region was organized during Malopolska Research Night and the opening ceremony.
The Staff Exchange in Malopolska Region could deliver an inspiration to the InnoBridge partners as far as the elaboration of the action plans is concerned.
