Colleagues from across the Buckinghamshire region met on 25th January 2021 to discuss the INNO Industry project. The meeting included an overview of some of the best practices which had been shared so far, as well as a detailed discussion of how Buckinghamshire could adapt and adopt some of the partners’ best practices, as well as their importance in the UK following Brexit. The group was particularly interested in the level of success seen in some of the projects which focused on digital innovation in SMEs, and the ways that this could be supported, as most and more businesses look to become digitised to overcome the challenges facing them due to COVID-19.
The Group asked the Project Team to continue its work on the action plan in order to better understand how some of the best practices could be implemented in the local region, and how this could affect and help to shape some of the policies for the region and the UK.
