The Lower Austrian stakeholders met on 22 June 2021 to discuss the next steps towards the Action Plan development.
Action 1 has already been implemented: The Regional Government launched two new regional calls for digital transformation projects of companies (“Digi4SME” 2020/06-10, “Digi4Business” 2020/11-201/06). Specific aspects of these calls, such as target group of beneficiaries and simplified application procedure, have been influenced by good practices from Slovenia and Portugal.
The planned workshops for further developing action 2, transfer of the Swedish good practice “Kickstart Digitalisation”, had to be postponed to September 2021 due to COVID 19 restrictions.
The stakeholders also discussed synergies with other ongoing European projects with Lower Austrian involvement under Horizon 2020, Interreg AT-SK and EaSI.
