On May 21st, 2021, RDA Posavje organized a regional workshop for INNO INDUSTRY stakeholders, where further discussion about action plan development and possibilities for the implementation of previously selected good practise took place.
The problem exposed by the participants was ensuring financial support. The ecosystem approach (Latvia’s good practise) included financial support from ministries. This poses a future challenge, an opportunity, and a starting point for our region.
The main conclusions drawn from the workshop were, that the smallness of the region presents an advantage and an opportunity to implement and upgrade the good practise “ecosystem approach”. We need to enhance the cooperation between organizations i.e., development and financial mechanisms, work on programs coordination, ensure additional training for employees of such organizations to boost their competences and ensure cooperation with entrepreneurs. Cooperation and communication are key for future progress.
