The City of Stuttgart is well-known for its industrial activity but also its foresighted climate and energy Policy. The City of Lille was particularly interested in the study visit organised at the "Urbahnschule", a renovated energy plus school. Indeed, Lille is currently sutyding the most efficient way to renovate its municipal buildings, particularly the elementary schools which represent one third of all municipal buildings.
The visit of the positive energy school was very inspiring for the municipal services in Lille, especially the public-private partnerships that were initiated to finance the renovation.
