Luise Schulz started on July 1st as new project manager for the City of Hamburg, partner in MOLOC. It was a good occasion to come to Lille to catch up on the activities of the project during the first semester, and to meet the lead partner team in Lille.
In the afternoon, one site visit paved the way for fruitful exchanges between the two cities. We visited the "Thierry - Launay" elementary school in the South of Lille that needs an urgent renovation. The ambition of the City of Lille is to use this school as a model of energetic renovation, that would be used to renovate all the other schools of the city. Hamburg shared its interesting expériences on the matter, particularly its public-private partnerships for the renovation of schools. The City of Lille will organise meeting to exchange about Hamburg's experience.
