Join the Policy Learning Platform on 2 March from 14:00 to 15:30 PM for an interactive webinar on the hot topic of green transition under the European Recovery and Resilience Facility (ERRF).
The European Recovery and Resilience Facility represents a vital lifeline for European regions after the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. But it also represents a chance for transformative change and a transition towards a sustainable and low-carbon economy.
The ERRF will make 672.5 billion EUR of loans and grants available to support reforms and investments by Member States. To access the funds, each Member State is devising a National Recovery and Resilience Plan, covering 2021-2026, and drafted in co-operation with its regions.
The plans should give particular focus to answering challenges identified in the European Semester and contribute to sustainable growth. Indeed, every recovery and resilience plan must have a minimum of 37% expenditure related to green investments and reforms, supporting implementation of the European Green Deal.
Given the importance and urgency of this new facility, the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform is organising a webinar with the European Commission on 2 March 2021 from14:00 to 15:30 PM (CET) to explore the ERRF and its opportunities for Europe’s regions.
To this end, we want to hear from you: what are your expectations of the ERRF? What projects are you hoping to fund? How are you engaging with national ERRF planners?
