More nights, more dreams + experience

“MORE NIGHTS MORE DREAMS”, was an expression of interest for the accommodation facilities in Lazio region – a sector that was particular penalized during the Covid-19 pandemic. These accommodation facilities (hotel and non-hotel accommodation facilities, including agritourisms) could be included in a specific circuit dedicated and aimed at favoring the arrival and stay of tourists and making the territory of the Lazio Region, from the Rome metropolitan city touching all the provinces of the region: Frosinone, Rieti, Viterbo and Latina and at the same time enhancing new tourist destinations.
The funding from the Lazio Region was 10 million euros divided into accommodation facilities that have joined the expression of interest and have been qualified as suitable.
Special packages have been made available for tourists ("incentive aids") such as:
3+1: after at least three consecutive nights booked and actually used in an accommodation facility included in the "More nights more dreams" circuit, the taxable cost of the fourth additional night (i.e. VAT excluded) is financed by the Lazio Region
5+2: after at least five consecutive nights booked and actually used in an accommodation facility included in the "More nights more dreams" circuit, the taxable cost of the sixth and seventh additional nights (i.e. VAT excluded) are financed by the Lazio Region.

The funding from the Lazio Region was 10 million euros.

All Italian and foreign tourists, as well as residents of Lazio, throughout 2022 have the opportunity to receive one more night, if they book three, and two if they book five in the same accommodation facility: the additional nights of stay are given away. from the Lazio Region.

In consideration of the epidemiological emergency COVID-19, which caused a dramatic decline in the tourism sector both in terms of attendance and turnover, the Lazio Region with this initiative, among others, has offered economic support for the accommodation facilities operating in the Lazio.

The initiative for the whole of 2022 supports both the accommodation facilities that have joined and tourists who have been encouraged to extend their holidays and overnight stays. It can be carried out based on the financial and investment availability of the region. With a regional resolution that took place in May 2021, the "Regional strategic program for the relaunch of the tourist attractiveness of Lazio" was approved). In this way, the Lazio Region regulated the forms of support in favor of accommodation facilities operating in Lazio through that would allow a resumption of flows in the Lazio tourism system, to be carried out through actions to facilitate the arrival and stay of the regional territory and at the accommodation facilities of the region that are part of the territorial areas listed in the Three-year Tourism Plan 2020 - 2022.
