This 6th video of the series on PROGRESS Good Practices is dedicated to the community-supported agriculture model that directly connects producers and consumers, when the later subscribe to a fixed weekly produce box from the farm.
At MyFarm Harta (Hungary), in return for subscribing to harvest, participants get their regular boxes of veggies and other farm goods, which include eggs or smoked goods. MyFarm Harta offers natural produce with higher vitamin and mineral content material, contributing now not just to biodiversity but health and extra nutrient-dense food.
The video explains the basic meaning of ecosystem services, and proceeds to explain how a farm an be part of these via a promising mechanism as MyFarm Harta applies. Later on, it explains to us how agriculture environments provide to use these systems if they are properly managed and how, for this to be possible, initiatives such as these need the commitment and participation of concious consumers.
More detailed and technical information can be found at PROGRESS Handbook 3 and at MyFarm Harta webpage.
