For the first time, partners and stakeholders of RECORD project met in Zaragoza on 26th-27th November to carry out a Study Visit. Some regional companies in the railway sector participated in the event. Also regional experts in transport and logistics.
This meeting is part of the analisys phase of RECORD project. By means of the exchange of experiences and an interregional open debate, regional policies and instruments for the fostering of innovation in SMEs in railway sector will be improved.
Before this study visit, each participant region organized a local stakeholders meeting, to present the project and to identify needs and constraints, but also opportunities and strengths in the local innovation process. During the Study Visit in Zaragoza, all partners were deeper into this analisys made regionally, and jointly identified common issues to address by regional innovation polcies. Also, they started to identify related good and bad practices.
In adition, participants could visit in ITAINNOVA, the two recently opened laboratories for ioT &Blockchain, and Big Data & Artificial Intelligence technologies, as well as other facilites to end with a visit to the Maritime Terminal of Zaragoza.
