Porto Design Factory (PDF), unit of PORTIC - Porto Research, Technology & Innovation Center of the Polytechnic of Porto, organized on the 12th of February 2020, a meeting of the Local Stakeholders Group of RegionArts project, gathering 18 key actors of the north Portugal region linked to the creative and technology sectors.
The meeting, hosted at PDF headquarters, focused on the exchange of experience process and the knowledge transfer to the action plan development. First, it was presented the design process of an action plan in the context of Interreg Europe projects.
Following, a presentation from the Regional Authority - CCDR-N – with an intervention by Dr. Pedro Figueiredo (Head of Division for Project Coordination and Institutional Networks) about the current Regional Operational Programme and Smart Specialization Strategy in North Portugal region, and future perspectives, provided valuable insights.
The meeting ended with a fruitful debate and brainstorming about ideas for the activities and the action plan to be implemented.
The involvement of Stakeholders, representatives of entities such as the Enterprise Association of Portugal - Enterprise Europe Network (AEP - EEN), the National Innovation Agency – ANI, the National Portuguese ICT Cluster (TICE.PT), the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), Business Hubs and Clusters of the Creative Industries, had a fundamental contribution and brought added value to the project’s knowledge exchange and also by supporting knowledge dissemination to the local communities.
