Research to Business is an international fair dedicated to industrial research and skills for innovation taking place in Bologna on a yearly basis.
The event, co-organized by ART-ER and SMAU and promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Government, welcomes enterprises, business support organizations, research centres, startups: the right chance to network with different stakeholders, receive updates on the latest technologies, learn more about policies supporting internationalization and competitiveness, discover the competencies needed to innovate in today’s society.
Cultural and Creative Industries are part of this framework. Indeed they have been included in the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Emilia-Romagna Region as a high-growth potential sector which can both contribute to the economic development of the territory and ignite innovation processes. Several initiatives, sustained by regional policies and fostering entrepreneurship, research and innovation of this field, were present: Clust-ER Create and Incredibol!
The former is a community made of companies, laboratories and training institutions which have joined forces by sharing resources, competences and ideas for a more competitive CCIs sector. The latter encourages creative business projects through a tailor-made programme: grants, rent-free spaces and training.
The RegionArts project, particularly in line with the objectives of this international fair, was communicated through informative materials provided at the Emilia Romagna StartUp desk, the main regional initiative promoting the advancement of startups and innovative ideas (managed by ART-ER).
