This newsletter, available here, could be divided into three parts: Europe after 18 months of pandemic, the National Recovery and Resilience Plans (NRRP), and project activities and results achieved and planned.
The first part of the newsletter gives an overview of the European situation after one and a half year of the pandemic, with a particular focus on the academic world and how it has not experienced a drop in funding or entries to universities, despite first predictions and difficulties.
The document continues with the approval of European Commissions to the NRRPs, plans set out the reforms and public investment projects that each Member States plans to implement with the support of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), the key instrument at the heart of NextGenerationEU, the EU's plan for emerging stronger from the COVID-19 pandemic.
After, activities carried out and the results achieved by the partnership in last months are described, such as the Campus Technical Meetings of University of Malaga (21st May) and Universities of Trieste and Udine (25th June) and the third S3UNICA virtual Exchange of Experience, realized by Italian partners.
The newsletter concludes with the presentation of goals and activities planned for next six months the next semester, the fifth and second last of S3UNICA Phase 1.
