Meeting in Leicester was the occasion for the SET-UP team to visit the Energy Lab located at De Monfort University (Leicester).
This inspiring space enables students and staff to build and test the equipment for their energy-related projects, including energy storage and smart grids. The lab is also connected to DMU’s ‘crime house’ and can display the performance of its low carbon energy system remotely.
A must-see in the lab: a « smart kitchen » for the smart home of the future!
