The SET-UP project was presented at the fourth annual Low Carbon Lecture, that took place in Leicester on 22nd November 2016. Cllr Adam Clarke, assistant city mayor for energy and sustainability, mentioned both SET-UP and the Green BELLE project as two key initiatives supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The Low Carbon Lecture is an annual event run by Leicester City Council. It provides a valuable opportunity to bring together experts, local businesses and other organisations, as well as interested members of the public, to share ideas and discuss important energy challenges.

The theme this year was “Paris Agreement on Climate Change: What does it mean for UK businesses?” and was delivered by Jill Duggan, from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
