The 2020 EU Week of Regions and Cities, held over three weeks in October and entirely online, was bigger and more accessible than ever. Hundreds of talks and workshops were presented and can now be watched online.
Our workshop, Resilient Heritage, Cohesive Society, took place on 14 October, with partners from SHARE, FINCH and Innocastle, and the head of the EU's Sustainable Cultural Tourism working group. They presented capsule good practices for managing cultural heritage properties and assets to be more resilient and inclusive.
Speaking were Andy Fryers, Moderator; Chiara Dall'Aglio, Sviluppumbria (IT); Joep de Roo, Eurodite (NL and RO); Anna Maria Caputano, Piemonte Region (IT); Shirley Clerkin, Monaghan County Council (IE); Patricia Mora, Extremadura Region (ES); Elisa Kraatari, South Ostrobothnia Region (FI), Vasilis Mitsios, Thessaly Region (GR); Nikolina Gracin, City of Šibenik (HR); Catherine Leonard, National Trust (UK), Raluca Barbulescu, National Institute of Heritage (RO) and, answering an audience question, Interreg Europe policy officer Eilish O'Laughlin.
