Representatives from SHARE and Green Pilgrimage held a joint public event on 23 October in Vadstena, Sweden, to describe each project’s objectives and work. Both seek to improve aspects of managing cultural heritage conservation, use and sustainability.
Markus Lindberg of the County Administrative Board of Östergötland presented the app being developed by the Green Pilgrimage project; it will not replace physical signposting but enrich walkers’ experience with additional cultural and practical information. Chiara Dall’Aglio of Sviluppumbria spoke about the bottom-up development of Umbria’s St. Francis Way. Venelina Varbova, thematic expert from the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform, discussed the services and opportunities available to all regional policymakers. The platform acts as a one-stop shop for custom support, advice and curated good practices from peers and experts.
