Regional and municipal policy makers from Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Spain and Sweden met in a public event in Vadstena, Sweden, on 22 October, 2018. Moderated by international sustainability expert Andy Fryers, the policy makers presented cases from their own territorial experience and compared approaches to issues related to the challenges of managing, conserving and exploiting cultural heritage, for the benefit of residents, businesses and tourists.
Participants included Petar Mišura, City of Šibenik (HR), József Pfeffer, mayor of the Municipality of Bogád (HU), Giovanni Patriarchi, councillor for Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Foligno (IT), Dana Nastase, representing the North East Region and the city of Iași (RO), Javier Cano, Head of DG Cultural Promotion for the Region of Extremadura (ES), and Anders Hedeborg, representing the municipality of Vadstena (SE).
