CAOS - Centro Arti Opificio Siri (Siri Factory Arts Centre) is a campus of museums, meeting rooms, performance spaces and more, located on a redeveloped industrial site close to the heart of town in Terni (Umbria - IT). The complex includes the Aurelio De Felice Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Archaeological Museum, halls for temporary exhibitions, creative workshops, the Secci Theatre, spaces for artistic residencies and production, a library, a video room and a bookshop / cafeteria, set around open areas with lawns and trees.
The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art exhibits works by international, Italian and local artists, as well as Umbrian works from the 14th – 19th centuries, a collection previously housed in the civic picture gallery. There are many sculptures on display by the 20th century Terni native Aurelio De Felice, in whose honour the museum is named.
The Archaeological Museum displays pre-Roman and Roman-era finds from the Terni basin, dating back as early as the 10th c. B.C.E.
The Museums and the CAOS complex are among the cultural heritage sites covered by the Urban Agenda policy and the LAP for Umbria.
