The municipality of Mönsterås has start working of active sustainable propoerty management, meaning looking into preventive maintenance to avoid problems in the buildings such as high cost of energy. The Energy agency have provided support with the procurement content and implementation of the energy data collection.
This pilot experiences will then be shared with the other municipalities in the region in February 2021.
” The strategic work on energy efficiency has now got into our budget”. says Marcus Olsson, property manager at the municipality 
Besides a better overview of the energy use the municipality has also contracted a property technician. The first task for Albin Berg is to prepare the new energy data collection system to improve the statistics and identifying efficiency actions.
” Now, we have better control of the buildings energy use and much better conditions to avoid problems and reducing the operational costs.” says Albin Berg.
