Yesterday began the 4th interregional seminar of Support. After the greetings from the Gozo Authorities and a brief introduction of the Lead Partner, it was made a general overview of the 4th semester and plan for the 5th period.
The work continued with the presentation by Maurizio Zara - CAI of the 9 Action Plans under study of the project partners. Critical issues were analyzed and indications were given to define the final version of the Action Plans. We are now at the final definition phase of the document that will be monitored in the second phase of the project, which will last two years starting from 30 June 2019.
In the second part of the seminar, the Spanish representative of the Andalusian Energy Agency, Maria Luisa Borra Marcos presented the Interreg BUILD2LC project that deals with the problem of energy efficiency of buildings as SUPPORT, proposing interesting experiences in progress in particular on innovative public / private financing formulas.
During the second day of the meeting, Partners and Stakeholders were invited to discuss about two topics: 1.The Eco Gozo policy and Energy Efficiency Activities in Malta In this topic the representative of Sweden told us about their project to make their municipality fuel-fossill free . 2. E-mobility and Smart Grids in Gozo The second session will be dedicated to focus groups, The first will be moderated by IRENA about “How to position energy refurbishment in buildings as process independent of diminishing returns?” and the second moderated by CAI on “Could additional centralization of policy making improve the overall EU goals related to energy and climate strategies? "
In the afternoon a transfer is organized to meet the Gozo Minister, Victoria.
