During the last months exchange of experience and knowledge has continued. Not only within the SWARE partnership, but also outside of it. During the projects’ lifetime many good practices have been identified. Some of which have found its way in the SWARE Good Practice Database, others have yet to be added. This autumn we were honoured to present our good practices also in Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform's thematic webinar and workshop.

Two of the SWARE partners were asked to present their good practice during a Policy Learning Platform webinar on ecotourism in riverside territories. SWARE partners Vidzeme Planning Region and Tipperary County Council presented respectively “Developing water tourism along riverways in Latvia and Estonia” and the “Lough Derg Marketing Group in Ireland”. This webinar, held on the 24th of October, is one of many webinars organized by the Policy Learning Platform of INTERREG Europe. On the 26th of November the SWARE project participated in the Policy Learning Platform thematic workshop on developing healthy and prosperous urban eco-system, in Brussels. This meeting was held to inspire and exchange experience between different INTERREG Europe projects. SWARE was again asked to give a presentation about one of their identified good practices: The river New Meuse as a metropolitan tidal park. This good practice was first visited by the SWARE partners during the Interregional Exchange Session in Zuid-Holland (The Netherlands) on the 9th of October 2017. The presentation of this good practice and many others shared in Brussels can be found on: https://www.interregeurope.eu/urbanecosystems/conclusions/
