Chamber of Commerce of Molise takes part in SUN Network - Simbiosis User Networks.
The cooperation with ENEA allowed the Chamber to be part of the SUN network - Symbiosis Users Network the Italian network guided by ENEA that promotes the systemic application of Industrial Symbiosis, even deepening operational issues that may concern for instance regulations, technical standards and best practices.
On 4th December 2018, the SUN network meeting was held in Rome, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Development, during which 6 working groups were set up.
The Chamber of Commerce of Molise is permanent member of the Working Group dedicated to "Regional policies and actions for Industrial Symbiosis”.
Objectives of the WG for 2019:
- Preparation of a position paper that maps and summarizes regional policies on industrial symbiosis;
- Presentation of the position paper on the occasion of a public event (annual SUN Network event or in a 3rd party event);
- Identification / mapping of regional stakeholders with whom to start a dialogue in each region for the presentation of the position paper and for the exchange of good practices (not technological, but of policy) in the field of industrial symbiosis;
- Inter-stakeholder work table.
The Group is working in order to reach the foreseen objectives.
