First TRINNO virtual Interregional Event officially kicked off TRINNO additional year of exchange. Partners addressed the additional call focus issues and updated the consortium on public policy for digital innovation and COVID-19 recovery.
TRINNO additional year of exchanges will deal with the role of digital Innovation in the COVID/ post-COVID society. We will try to depict and analyse how digital innovation in traditional enterprises can help them to address and emerge from the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, consortium will address changes that COVID-19 imposed to business support services for digital innovation: soft-support, physical infrastructure and funding. Project partners will develop proposals for policy change, in order to impact policy instruments to further improve the way in which they support enterprises to address the crisis.
During our virtual Interregional event Sandra Perez, Head of the ACCIÓ Industry 4.0 initiative, from Spain, opened the expert session and talked about digital innovation, COVID and public policy from the point of lessons for traditional SMEs. Partners also had the opportunity to listen how traditional sectors companies recovered to COVID crisis in Catalonia, two cases presented were AIRBOX and Bitgenoma.
Important part of the meeting was Interregional Workshop where partners shared experiences on their policies to discover potential element for exchange and policy improvement. Our first steps and presentations are promising great achievements and results for the end of extended year of TRINNO.
