Great results were achieved also in Slovenia and University of Barcelona offered their knowledge and experiences to all partners which was a great added value to further policy improvements in partner's regions.

Within the additional year great results were recognized also in Slovenia. The goal of Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia was to further provide support to craft workers in the COVID recovery phase and DCHS was actively working on national level together with Consortium of Slovenian Craftsmen Centres, that the status of craft workers would be regulated within the Law on the preservation and development of handicrafts. On 16 February 2023, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted a proposal for the new Law, which aims to systemically regulate this important area of Slovenian cultural heritage. The law lays the foundations for the preservation and development of handicraft knowledge, skills and abilities. This opens possibility to establish digital voucher adjusted for craftsmen. DCHS also hosted a study visit in Slovenia for the Irish partner and stakeholders. Great learnings were exchanged which will help to upgrade Slovenian vouchers for digitalisation with additional workshops and free support on promotion. Within the final event in Barcelona a study visit was organized also for Cooperative Kikštarter Business centre from Kamnik to transfer some initiatives also in the rural environment since it is the only incubator and accelerator in the Heart of Slovenia. They were inspired by Tech Barcelona for ICT start-ups.

As advisory partner, the University of Barcelona (UB) has brought to the TRINNO consortium the possibility to know about the Barcelona and Catalunya innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Also, to learn about specific initiatives developed at the City of Barcelona but also offering to the TRINNO partners experiences of other places of the Catalan region, from medium and small towns located in the metropolitan area as well at the countryside. Always with a special focus on SMEs digitalisation initiatives as a must for their recovery after the pandemic impact and sustainable competitivities, whatever they were located. Besides that, the UB team participated in the debates to define and improve initiatives to be deployed by the different partners regions, through out a very interesting peer review process. Finally, it was an honour for the University of Barcelona to host the first meeting of TRINNO, on 2016, and also the final meeting of the "additional activities" year of TRINNO, on June 2022.
