TRINNO 6th Interregional Learning Event

Between 4th and 5th October 2018 partners presented Revised Action Plans. Peer Review sessions gave the opportunity to elaborate comments and real time exchanges. Partners from Italy, Ireland, Hungary, Spain and Slovenia will work on Final Action Plans by March 2019.

This meeting also gave an important opportunity to visit different good practices from the region. One of these was The Hive Technology Enterprise Centre in Carrick-on-Shannon, which presents office spaces for technology businesses (start-ups and established businesses). Second was the Food Hub, a food production and education facility based in Drumshanbo. Co. Leitrim. Since it’s establishment in 2004, it has emerged as Ireland’s premier artisan multi-tenant food production enterprise centre, established by a social enterprise.

This Interregional Learning Event was of extreme importance due to the final chapter of Phase One for TRINNO project. Partners had the opportunity in the past two years to visit many good practices in Italy, Ireland, Hungary, Spain and Slovenia. All these served as a base for promotion of competitiveness in EU regions through improving policy instruments for a dynamic business support system, helping enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs to apply benefits of digital innovation to traditional sectors. Above this, good practices were exchanged in purpose to improve projects financed by the policies and to provide input to possible management improvements. We delivered valuable inputs to different stakeholders following quadruple helix model of cooperation, and have established many strong connections with national policy makers.

All these will be incorporated in partner’s Final Action Plans and will have to be monitored in Phase Two of TRINNO project. Important results will also be presented in Final Phase One Event in Italy in March 2018. Event will be hosted by Lead Partner - Arezzo Innovazione.
