Most of the participants continued to visit “Europaforum 2018”, followed by a full day seminar with focus on Sweden’s role in EU. The meeting attracted around 130 people from Kronoberg and nearby counties. A draft version of the EU budget for next period was discussed, with more of a focus on climate, resource efficiency and environmental issues.
As part of the event an exhibition was arranged by Energikontor Sydost and TRIS and other EU funded projects were displayed. Many policy makers and politicians took the chance to discuss circular economy and sustainability with Energikontor Sydosts with representatives present.
