On 13 October 2020 (14.30-16.00 CEST), the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform will organise an online Participatory Lab on ‘Reuse and Repair in a circular economy’ within the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities.
The Participatory Lab puts the spotlight on successful reuse and repair initiatives and identifies key success factors for their wider deployment as a cornerstone of the European Green Deal. The session offers local and regional policy makers, social economy as well as waste management experts insights into reuse and repair initiatives that give a second life to discarded furniture; electric and electronic equipment; textiles and toys; and at the same time offer new chances to people with difficulties and families in need. This is illustrated with excellent good practices from Finland, France, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden showcasing reuse and repair initiatives and digital tools. You will have the opportunity to engage in questions and discussion with those who have implemented them as well as with our thematic experts.
Please note that event registration closes on 27 September 2020. An agenda and registration form can be accessed at the event website: europa.eu/regions-and-cities/programme/sessions/1193_en
