The EU-project WaVE (Water-linked heritage Valorization by developing an Ecosystemic approach) officialy kicked off with a 3 day event from September 25 – September 27, 2019 in the city of Breda (NL).
The 7 WaVE partners had several interactive sessions during these days ans dicussed issues on topics like the project management and financial management of the project, communication and stakeholder analysis. There also was a session on action plan and policy influencing, because that’s initially what the WaVE project is about. The project partners also introduced their target area for the project and shared their best practices.
The partners also found time for 2 site visits in Breda: a walk along the reinstated harbour and river, a boat tour around the city centre and harbour district and a bus tour along water and heritage projects in Breda.
At the end of the second day, there also was a meetup and celebration drink with 4 other rewarded European projects in Breda.
The WaVE partners are looking forward to a fruitful coorporation in the coming years,
