The last Sunday of August (30) Economic Council of East-Flanders organised a 'Tasteful East Flanders' tour, where 14 regional producers opened their doors to tourists, from 10 am until 6 pm. Visitors got more information about the products that were made, the producers themselves, the production process, the history of the company or farm, the long tradition behind the product and the love and the passion of the producer for his product.
Every producer of East Flemish delicacies gave a glimpse into his company or his farm via a fixed route with information boards. Due to the corona pandemic the producers were not allowed to explain. The visitors also got a look behind the scenes and learned the story behind the product.
