The presentation took place during an online meeting organised in Riga, the capital of Latvia, at which the Councillor for Tourism of Tuscany Region Leonardo Marras brought his greetings to the international partners.
The "Mare Ghiotto" guide is dedicated to the coast and islands of Tuscany and was created in collaboration with Slow Food, the network of territorial presidia and the tourist areas involved: Riviera Apuana, Versilia, Livorno, Terre di Pisa, Costa degli Etruschi, Maremma Nord, Maremma Sud and Elba. The result is a publication aimed at tourists, the result of an accurate mapping of the territory that has collected tourist attractions, fish species, fishing and gastronomic traditions, fishing tourism, fishing tourism, hiking and sea sports activities most representative of the coastal areas of Tuscany.
The guide, which will be presented during sector events, is also being developed with the integration of the Regione Toscana platforms, in collaboration with Fondazione Sistema Toscana in the Vetrina Toscana and Costa Toscana - VisitTuscany.com sections, where it is already online, and has Qrcodes that lead directly to the landing on the dedicated digital section.
One of the objectives of the BRANDTour project is in fact the implementation of the policy tools necessary to develop new customised tourism products that can satisfy emerging targets and encourage "inbound" tourist flows to the European Union. All this is based on the experience of the good practices of the project partners.
Region of Tuscany and Toscana Promozione Turistica in this way will give new tools to the Tuscan tour operators to access potential profitable market niches in order to make Tuscany even more an attractive region for many and varied tourist interests.
