Interreg Europe has organised three seminars in Barcelona (Spain), from the 30th of May to the 1st of June, for the Lead Partners of the second call projects. More than 100 people attended the three-days event that took place in the Hilton hotel of the city.
Attendees got the opportunity to learn more about the other projects approved and present what they are actually developing under this funding programme. ERNACT, as a Lead Partner of CLEAN, took part in the seminars and presented their low-carbon economy project.
The first day attendees reviewed the communication and dissemination strategy for the Interreg Europe projects. Organization provided the necessary guidance on the programme's publicity requirements, as well as some helpful advice and tips for making the communication activities as effective and attractive as possible. The seminar offered a set of three practical workshops focusing on project pitch, media relations, and online presence through the project websites and social media platforms.
The Policy learning and interregional exchange of experience seminar took place during the morning of the second day. Apart from reminding the programme’s recommendations on the learning process, attendants could hear different best practices from the experience of some first call projects. They discussed and shared knowledge about the following topics: What methodology? How to foster successful discussions among partners? How to get stakeholders involved? At what stage of the project should they be active? What are the steps to follow for a realistic and successful action plans? If there are not partners, how to get the managing authorities fully involved?
As Interreg Europe highlighted, "It is extremely important that for each activity you have a plan".
The last day and a half attendees took part in the Finance seminar, targeted at Lead Partners, finance managers and Lead Partner’s first level controllers of Interreg Europe projects. The organization shared information and updates on financial reporting and control procedures and requirements related to the management of these projects.
