ERNACT, project leader of CLEAN, has organised the first regional stakeholder meeting of the North West of Ireland. The event took place the 17th July in the Guildhall (Derry, Northern Ireland).
General CLEAN project information was outlined to all present, including Leo Strawbridge Derry City and Strabane District Council's Energy Manager, Joe Hendron, Paddy Mullen Facilities Manager/Executive Engineer at Donegal County Council and Caitriona Strain, Project Manager at ERNACT and Project Leader of CLEAN. They presented information regarding project funding, objectives, goals, anticipated outputs, timelines, partners involved and budget.
Information about upcoming events, including the Launch Conference in Caen (Normandy, France), study visits and staff exchanges were discussed. The aim of these events is to increase local stakeholder capacity, involve them in the project, and to stimulate transnational knowledge exchange regarding energy efficiency in buildings between participating regions.
Furthermore, the Current Regional Situation as regards energy efficiency in buildings was discussed.
