The CLEAN working group presented briefly the overall objective of the project and described the main goals and outputs, as well as the methodology that will be followed in order for the project to be successfully implemented. It was analysed the importance of sharing Good Practices (GP) for Crete’s transition to a smarter and more energy efficient region.
Special attention was given to Crete’s Smart Specialization Strategy that gives priority to the promotion of sustainable energy in buildings. The CLEAN project can play a key role, as it is expected to enhance the cooperation between public authorities, research centres and companies who can introduce new innovative energy efficiency solutions.
The project manager presented to the stakeholders the progress of the project, following the useful material delivered at the official launch of the Project in Caen-France on October 10th. The members of the CLEAN working group and the LS group that attended the event in Caen transferred the experience from the GP presentations from the project partners, as well as from the study visits and workshops of the partner of Normandy. An interesting dialogue was made, regarding the importance of staff exchange and the added value that this methodology will provide to the Region of Crete. An interesting discussion also followed focusing on the most suitable GPs for Crete. Some of them took head, promising good results in Cretan Region. Stakeholders will deliver their final feedback at the next meeting.
The next Stakeholders workshop was set for February 2018.
