The ENERGETIC fair is held every second year in Slovenia. In 2016, more than 540 brands from 29 countries attended. Exhibitors also co-create current professional discussions, lectures and roundtables. They discussed, among other things, the opportunities and stalls of the energy rehabilitation of public buildings, with a focus on energy contracting. On the last day of the 2016 fair, a roundtable on self-handling of electricity from renewable energy sources took place. They also talked about the importance of energy renovation of buildings in the period 2014-2020, since such a measure is strategically speaking, an exceptional multiplier effect on the domestic economy.
"The country has set itself to be smart and introduce meters by 2024, enabling all users to monitor their own consumption, and at the same time to equip facilities to take advantage of additional options," - said Jože Dimnik, Directorate of Energy at the Ministry of Infrastructure.
This year, the energy fair was renamed to TECHEXPO Celje and will be held from 18th to 21st April.
