In September 2017, the 50th MOS was held in Celje, Slovenia. MOS is the central and largest business-fair event in Slovenia and the wider region. It promotes business progress and economic growth.
During the fair, lectures were held where companies presented their activities on sustainable development, following national and European energy policies. Development is aimed at encouraging cities to participate in pilot projects and at introducing new technologies that allow lower energy consumption in buildings and lower energy consumption in the construction of new buildings with the help of new control systems; mostly in the direction of the general facilitating of the lives of people by collecting data about their daily routines and using that data for planning, for instance, transport infrastructure, since the collected data helps them optimize the time spent for traveling to work, different trips and consequently helps reducing emissions.
2018 will see the 51st edition of the most prominent business fair in the region. From 11th to 16th September 2018 the largest and most modern showground in Slovenia will once again host top representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the most eminent global brands.
