[NEWS] Stakeholder group meeting in Kainuu

The Regional Council of Kainuu, e-MOPOLI PP6, is organising a stakeholder group meeting in the form of learning and dissemination seminar on 16.11.2020.

The purpose of the seminar is to disseminate the e-MOPOLI project to regional, national and EU stakeholders, to embed the e-MOPOLI action plan into the larger context of alternative mobility, and to reinforce regional exchanges on alternative mobility and forthcoming opportunities. Among our priorities:

  • biogas applications;
  • electrical mobility;
  • hydrogen solutions;
  • synthetic energy solutions;
  • fuel cells storage;
  • research into new types of fuels.

It is important to open up the opportunities for Kainuu at national and EU levels. In particular, relating to the national level, it would be crucial to understand the policy opportunities and the participation options in terms of projects. It is important to remember that Kainuu is both a renewable energy provider (biogas) and an end user. Alternative mobility, therefore, is both a compliance duty and an opportunity domain.
