An investment of about 7 and a half million euros for the installation of new electric charging stations: 270 new columns in Lombardy, 30 in Brescia.

In Lombardy, 270 new charging infrastructures for electric vehicles will be installed, of which 30 in the province of Brescia. This is foreseen by a resolution approved by the Regional Council on the proposal of the Councilor for Infrastructures, Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Claudia Maria Terzi.

“This operation - explains Terzi - will make it possible to considerably implement the number of recharging columns. The objective of interventions like this is to contribute to gradually guaranteeing greater coverage of the territory. After all, citizens can more easily choose the electric vehicle option only if they perceive that they will not suffer inconvenience due to the lack of recharging infrastructure. We are working, with all those involved, to give a cultural change: buying an electric car must become a normal choice, and this also means being able to easily access the stations for refueling electricity ".

"Among the actions implemented by the Lombardy Region to facilitate electric mobility - continues Terzi - I remember the call for private individuals to encourage domestic charging facilities, the exemption from the payment of the car tax for electric cars and the measures promoted by the councilor Cattaneo to incentivize the replacement of polluting vehicles through 26.5 million euros of contributions for companies and citizens ".
