[NEWS] Flanders: new department responsible

New department responsible for e-MOPOLI in Flanders. From January 2021 the e-MOPOLI project will be taken over by the minister of Mobility, Lydia Peeters.

Flanders is one of the nine project partners in the e-MOPOLI-project. Until now it was the department of Environment, under the minister Zuhal Demir, who was running this project. But by the beginning of January 2021 the e-MOPOLI project will be taken over by the minister of Mobility, Lydia Peeters.

All mobility affairs, including electric mobility and charging infrastructure have hereby become part of the competence of the department of Mobility. Its minister, Lydia Peeters, has already promised to install 30000 new public charging points by 2025.
