New car sales went from great heights to deep corona valleys, and then took off like a rocket in the autumn. "During the sharp rise that came in the third four-month period, we saw that electric cars accounted for 54 percent of new car sales. In December as many as two out of three new cars were electric”, says director Øyvind Solberg Thorsen from the Norwegian Road Federation. “We are well on our way to reach the goal that in 2025 only emission-free cars will be sold ", says Minister of Climate and Environment Sveinung Rotevatn.
