Our policy instrument has been revised in line with the Action Plan. The document provides direction for the county's work with transport and mobility, and for sustainable transport in future regional area and transport plans.

This is exciting work! The new strategy is different from the previous, now the main goal of the transport strategy is to develop a sustainable transport sector in Rogaland. This applies to the economy, climate and environment, transport and traffic safety, says transport manager Stine Haave Åsland.

Rogaland County Council will prioritize the following four areas in the coming years:

  • financially sustainable solutions that meet tomorrow's needs
  • climate transition and a viable natural environment
  • facilitate future transport
  • safe transport for everyone
