 [NEWS] Mobility Bonus: Reggio Calabria municipalities

Residents of all the municipalities of Reggio Calabria will be able to apply for the incentive to buy a sustainable means of transport.

Reggio Calabria is one of the fourteen metropolitan cities that will be able to apply for the Bike Bonus 2020, with the addition of all its municipalities, including those with a population of less than 50,000 inhabitants.

The Bike Bonus 2020, officially Mobility Bonus as called on the website of the Ministry of the Environment, an incentive provided for in article 229 of the Relaunch Decree for those who purchase a means of sustainable mobility, such as a bicycle, an e-bike or an electric scooter.

The incentive corresponds to 60 percent of the cost incurred by the citizen to buy the vehicle, reimbursement is available up to a maximum limit of 500 euros. Purchases must be made from 1st July to 31st December 2020. With the Bike Bonus 2020, part of the amounts can be refunded for the purchase of: Traditional bicycles; Pedal assisted bicycles; hand-bike; Electric scooters; Hoverboard; Segway; other electric powered vehicles; Bike sharing and other so-called "shared mobility services for individual use, excluding those using cars", as explained by the Ministry.
