ELISE partners and their stakeholders will meet again this time in Eastern Poland - city of Lublin. Partner Lublin Voivodeship organised 2 days long event fully packed with content ranging from project activities to study visits in academia and companies with particular focus on functional foods - one of the keys to healthier European population.
Functional foods are thought to provide benefits beyond basic nutrition and may play a role in reducing or minimizing the risk of certain diseases and other health conditions. Examples of these foods include fruits and vegetables, whole grains, fortified foods and beverages and some dietary supplements. Partners and stakeholders will be able to see development of functional foods from idea to product and how R&I environment enables better fusion of key stakeholders.
Interregional forum will be hold in order to share experiences and best practices from policy perspective in order to form suggestions for improvement in each country. This meeting will be crucial for the start of the main project activity, developing of action plan for each partner.
Results of the event will be published in early April.
