Cassovia Life Sciences in association with Košice Self-governing Region have organised 4th Regional Workshop for project stakeholders, which was held in December 2018 in Košice.
Stakeholders from 12 stakeholder research institutions, clusters and companies discussed main problems of the innovation ecosystem in East Slovakia Region. During the working meeting we have identified 3 main problems as follows:
1. the underdeveloped axis between academia and industry
2. missing coaching on process from idea, through product to market
3. low income of academia researchers and subsequent brain drain.
We are now preparing proposals for the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Education in order to contribute to the improvement of national policies.
