As part of internationalization strategy, Metropolitan City of Turin joined on June 6th, the initiative organised by Lucéo, pôle développement économique and hosted in La Roche de Rame (France). The meeting purpose was providing information, consulting and other methodical assistance in the field of export, search and screening of potential cross-border markets and international trade and cooperation, and consequently stimulate export growth and increase competitiveness of their businesses.
Business France Italy, Team France Export and some companies interested in learning about Italian actors and existing tools that support business internationalization were present. In this context of strengthening the internationalization of cross-border companies, the MIP service – Start your own business- was presented and discussed with local enterprises. MIP is Metropolitan City of Turin’s service for enterprise creation, accomplished in collaboration with the Piedmont Region and funded within the ESF 2014/2020 ROP.
The attending enterprises showed the need for a single interlocutor to deal with able to provide assistance and meet the demands of their forthcoming cross-border business activities.
It was an opportunity to deepen the knowledge and identification of the needs and potential of local economic actors to improve territorial attractiveness and learn to work in proximity.
