One of the measures foreseen by Città Metropolitana’s Action Plan is Innometro, a project whose aim is promoting the innovation of the micro-enterprises, which are known as the subjects with the greatest issues in undertaking research and innovation projects. Namely, very small sized enterprises encounter difficulties on the organizational field and as concerns the access to bank loans.
On 2nd July 2020, Città Metropolitana di Torino presented to the public by means of a webinar the Innometro project. Innometro will assist micro-enterprises willing to innovate their products or processes. It will provide them with specialistic consulting services to identify and develop innovative projects but also financial support to purchase the necessary services from academy, research centres, local innovative start-ups and enterprises.
Therefore, Innometro stands as an instrument combining financial support with assistance provided by experts in order to facilitate the collaboration between enterprises and research. The goal of the guidance path is to directly focus on the need of innovation of micro-enterprises, helping them to find technologies and partners and finally assisting them in the elaboration of innovative projects which can generate products, services or production processes as possible outputs.
More than 70 people took part in the webinar for the presentation of the project. Innometro will be realized with the collaboration of Finpiemonte – financial body of Piemonte Region – Politecnico and University incubators and Soges – consulting and training company.
