The 3rd Steering Committee meeting of the Smart Specialisation Platform for Industrial Modernisation will take place in Rovaniemi, Finland on 12th April 2018. Together with the European Commission and the Lapland region, Interreg Europe will take the opportunity to organise a 1-day event on 11th April to discuss possible synergies and complementarities between Interreg Europe projects and the strategic partnerships for industrial modernisation.
Interreg Europe identified 19 projects (13 from the 1st Call and 6 from the 2nd Call) with regions involved in the Smart Specialisation Platform for Industrial Modernisation. There are a lot of synergies possible between Interreg Europe and the strategic partnerships. It is therefore important for the regions involved that the complementarities and synergies between both initiatives are more clearly communicated.
Angelica Laterza, the representative of the Emilia-Romagna Region, will participate as leader of the INKREASE project.
