Regional administration has been obliged to postpone the date of stakeholder meeting (intiallly planned on 26th of May) to next week. Owing to unforeseen circumstances and a necessary change of agenda due to inability of some of key stakeholders to attend the meeting on the initially foreseen date. For better еefficiency and performance of the stakeholder meeting will be postponed to a date convenient for everyone. Regional administration thanks also in advance and look forward to seeing everyone in end of next week.
Regional Administration of Varna will organize regional stakeholder meetings in their own region and deliver summary reports on the experience gathered and conclusions reached. Organization of regional stakeholders’ meetings between partners and the key players that decide on policy issues in the LAND – SEA regions aim at starting the analysis and preparing a framework of practice collection for identification of best practices in the concerned territories. All other project partners - River Bassin Autjority of the Rivers Liri-Garigliano Volturno/Southern Apennines River Bassin District and Molise Region from Italy, as well as the Government of Catalonia and BCNecologia already organized such meetings in March 2017.
The purpose of regional stakeholders meetings is to receive input from and ensure the active involvement of stakeholders groups in the implementation of regional action plans. During the meetings, Bulgarian partner will mostly have the opportunity to identify issues to be tackled at the action plans implementation phase (project phase 2), as well as to ensure the involvement of the specific stakeholders' groups in the preparation of the action plans.
